Introduction to meta-analysis
Though meta-analyses are more often used in medical and health disciplines, interest within the social science community is growing. This is because meta-analyses, which combine analysis across many similar studies, can provide a useful bottom line to decision makers regarding a given question. They can also be useful to researchers interested in understanding where their questions might fit within the existing literature. This module begins with an introduction to meta-analysis and poses important questions to consider when performing one.
