Metascience 2021 Conference

Sep. 16-18 and 23-25 — BITSS is an organizing partner of the 2021 Metascience Conference, which convenes researchers and stakeholders to share knowledge, foster community, and define a roadmap of research and intervention priorities to accelerate science.

BITSS was involved in two seminars at Metascience 2021, including:

• “Forecasting scientific outcomes” at 2-3:30 pm PT on Thursday, Sep. 16, with presentations from Anna Dreber (Stockholm School of Economics), Fiona Fidler (University of Melbourne), Sarah Rajtmajer (Pennsylvania State University), Eva Vivalt (University of Toronto).

• “Building a research culture for replicability and reproducibility in the social sciences” at 4-6 pm PT on Thursday, Sep. 23, with presentations from Fernando Hoces de la Guardia (BITSS), Aleksandar Bogdanoski (BITSS), Olivia Miske (Center for Open Science), Nick Fox (Center for Open Science), Ana Trisovic (Harvard), and Jade Benjamin-Chung (Stanford).
