PhD course: Toolkit on Transparent, Open, and Reproducible Research

Catalyst Ada Gonzales-Torres led a short course on Transparent, Open, and Reproducible Research for PhD students at the European University Institute (EUI), in Florence, Italy. Taught in cooperation with colleagues Michele Belot (EUI), and Julia Schulte-Cloos (EUI), the course gave an overview of ethical considerations in social science research; pre-registration methods and pre-analysis plans; data mining and p-hacking; meta-analysis; reproducible workflows and open research materials, and replication.
