Guanghong is an Economics Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Economics, University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). His research focuses on the economic development of lower-income countries and how technology can help with global poverty reduction. He has conducted fieldwork in Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania. He’s currently a visiting scientist at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Nairobi, Kenya.
